HIPPOCAMPUS was a collaborative exhibition put on by myself and 11 other photography students during our second year at Manchester Metropolitan University. Within our exhibition, we aimed to explore surreal themes, showcasing abstract visuals and unnoticed everday moments. For me and many others in the group, this was our debut exhibition.
I presented a project called ‘A World Of Her Own’, in which I explored the themes of Kirlian Photography. I aimed to capture the inner workings of the brain with a long-exposure technique I slowly developed alongside the project.
